Difference in Thickness of Ventricular Walls?

There are differences in the thicknesses between the ventricular walls of the heart. For example, the left ventricles noticeably have thicker walls than the right ventricle. This is because the left ventricle is responsible for pumping blood to the rest of the body, while the right ventricle only needs to pump blood to the lungs.
